First Time Central Heating grants are part of the Energy Company Obligation (ECO4). This part of ECO4 helps low-income households access funding to install central heating. First Time Central Heating Grants Qualifying Criteria requires that the new central heating system is installed in domestic premises which are heated using Electric Room Heaters, Electric Storage Heaters or Gas Room heaters and has never had a central heating system before in the property
If you qualify under the ECO4 scheme then all of the cost of First Time Central heating will be covered by the grant. This includes the installation of a brand-new A-rated gas condensing boiler and comprehensive central heating system.
For First Time Central Heating Grant, you’ll need to be meet the following eligibility criteria

Loft Insulation
Loft insulation is a barrier of material in your roof space that traps heat. It can be laid between the joists. Either way, it’s like a big cosy blanket that slows down the transfer of heat between your living space and the outside world. Insulation not only warms your home in winter, but keeps it cool in summer.
A quarter of heat is lost through the roof in an uninsulated home. Insulating your loft is an effective way to reduce heat loss and reduce your heating bills. Installed correctly. In terms of the environmental benefits, having good loft insulation also helps you reduce your home’s carbon footprint. That’s because the better insulated your home is, the more efficient your home will be – reducing emissions as well as saving you money on bills.

Cavity Wall Insulation
Cavity walls are two walls with a gap in between called the cavity. The outer wall is often made of brick while the inner wall brick or concrete.Cavity wall insulation is one of the easiest and most cost-effective forms of insulation to install in the home. It increases the energy efficiency of your home, reduces heat loss and your carbon footprint, and can make the home warmer and cheaper to heat.

Energy companies are obligated to reduce carbon emissions as part of the UK’s pledge to be net zero by 2050. The ECO scheme has been running since 2013 and has already helped more than 2.4 million homes, reduced their monthly energy bills for free.
